Winnipeg's top-line shooting is the reason for Jets ML in Montreal. The Jets outshot the Canadiens 34-21 at the Oct. 25 Heritage Classic, including 25-19 at five-on-five.
Kyle Connor has 11 goals and 60 shots in 15 games this season. NHL EDGE counts 21 of his shots from high-danger areas.
Connor is projected alongside Mark Scheifele and Gabriel Vilardi. Against Montreal on Oct. 25, Connor put 5 shots on goal and Scheifele had 7.
Montreal now has to replace Mike Matheson, who played 25:37 in that meeting. The Canadiens ruled him out for two weeks with a lower-body injury on Oct. 31.
