South Alabama -5Posted odds: -115Stake: 1.0 unit

I'm taking South Alabama -5 against Jax State after the Jaguars scored 40 points in the paint against Ohio. They made 21 of 32 two-point attempts in that opener.

Diego Roman scored 19 points and had 5 assists in the opener. Stephen Williams added 14 points on 5-for-8 shooting, while Jalen Langsy scored 25 with 3 threes.

South Alabama also drew 28 free throws against Ohio. Jax State committed 21 fouls and sent LaGrange to the line for 28 attempts in its opener. I'd test that foul discipline with Roman and Williams inside.
