E Illinois enters this game 360th in KenPom's early adjusted offensive efficiency ratings. The Panthers made 3 of 14 threes and committed 22 turnovers in their opener at Indiana.
They now face an Iowa defense that held Lipscomb to 36.2% shooting Tuesday. The Hawkeyes allowed just 7 field goals after halftime in that win.
Iowa's slow pace is the other reason for Under 136. The Hawkeyes rank last nationally in KenPom's early adjusted tempo ratings at 66.4 possessions per 40 minutes.
Ben McCollum has said Iowa won't take a bad shot just to play fast.
