Cooper Flagg's passing is a reason to take Mavericks +6.5 against the Rockets. He had 11 assists in Miami on Monday, then 8 without a turnover against Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
Flagg has been finding teammates when defenses send help.
Daniel Gafford gives Dallas a way to get extra shots with Steven Adams out. Gafford grabbed 6 offensive rebounds Wednesday, and the Mavericks had 13 in Miami and 15 against Oklahoma City.
Caleb Martin's return adds scoring beyond the starters. He scored 10 Wednesday as Dallas' bench supplied 43 points.
