That matters more than a generic prospect label. Boston is getting a live arm with immediate strikeout juice, and this price is still sitting in plus territory.

Toronto is carrying fresher lineup damage than Boston

The Blue Jays are still without George Springer and Alejandro Kirk. Andres Gimenez is listed day to day, which is the kind of fresh availability question that matters more than a long-term absence already baked into the market.

Boston does have pitching names on the injured list, but most of that damage is old news. The current lineup path is cleaner for the Red Sox than it is for Toronto.

Red Sox ML is playable because Tolle already showed real bat-missing upside in his first start, Toronto is missing Springer and Kirk with Gimenez still uncertain, and the home side is asking you to pay for a starter without a proven body of work. The market is shading Toronto, but not enough to make Boston unattractive at this number.
